First off, I just have to say KUDOS to all the influencers out there! Taking your own pictures and posing by murals is honestly harder than I thought! Hillsboro Village in Nashville gives you so many different backdrops to practice on. Below are five spots to grab cute photos in this neighborhood of Nash.

​The majority of my quarantine was spent in the car. Without being able to get out and go, we were able to get out and appreciate some of the sights and beautiful houses that East Tennessee and beyond has to offer. So, if you’re bored in the house and in the house bored here’s a couple ideas for a social distanced road trip!

Townsend, TN is dubbed as the “quiet side of The Smokies.” Skip the traffic going through Gatlinburg and drive to and through the mountains with ease. Cades Cove in the national park has a beautiful loop, and if you’re lucky enough you may see a bear!

The Tail of The Dragon is for those who are brave with 318 curves in the 11 mile stretch. Make your way from Maryville, TN to Robbinsville, NC with breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains and Cherokee National Forest.

Round out your Dragon drive with the nearby Foothills Parkway. Cruise through the mountains and pull over for some amazing views of all your favorite hikes. Foothills cuts through the Dragon and offers 17 miles of open road from US 129 to US 321!

Franklin, TN is just south of Nashville and a hidden gem. Drive through their classic downtown Main Street and check out gorgeous historical homes. Head just a little bit further out to the West Haven neighborhood for a cool little planned community. Just be aware of all the golf cart drivers in the streets!

If you’re going stir crazy in your house, take your car out for a spin and explore what unique neighborhoods and natural beauty your city has to offer.

​48 hours in Miami starts with a good brunch! Seaspice has everything nice! Stop in and get seated by big boats on the Miami River or switch things up at the 1 Hotel in South Beach. The hotel brings in elegant touches of nature and has some of the best avocado toast in the states! Pop open bottomless at The Local House. They make a mean smoked beef skillet and their airy atmosphere is perfect for your next Instagram! Head down the road to South Pointe Park Pier for a beautiful view of Miami beach.

Make a short trip over to Wynwood Art District and explore the grounds of their graffiti park with rotating artists! Next head across the street to Bakan for a snack! Order a guava margarita and skillet baked queso for an appetizer!

Ready for a real meal? Miami has some of the best sushi and truffle mac & cheese! Reserve your spot at Bâoli for the ultimate party! Everyone dances on tables, there’s fog machines and sparklers! Can’t get in? Head to Villa Azur! This mediterranean restaurant has great atmosphere and a saxophonist that plays along with the DJ!

Now it’s time to go out! You haven’t lived until you’ve been to LIV! Think confetti, Calvin Harris and nice champagne! Looking for something more low key? Grab a drink at Cibo Wine Bar in South Beach or ask to get in the speakeasy at Sugar in Brickell.

My schedule moves at a full one hundred pace. 

Between work, friends and trying to find balance (or total lack thereof) I have to keep it organized! I’m a hard planner type of girl. I visualize my week by writing it all down in front of me.

 Last Friday, I was introduced to bullet journaling. A style of organization helped to track your goals and log your progress with short, bulleted notes.

 This style is completely customizable! I started adding a meal list, short-term monthly goals and a mood tracker to my already filled out to-do list. Nothing is more satisfying to me than checking off a task! By adding in a few more goals and notes, I feel more efficient and organized this month!

Lately I’ve been super into faux fur! In the past three weeks, I’ve bought and received three fluffy fur coats. Right now I have a cheetah, blush, lavender and blue rotating through my wardrobe. 

I'm equally obsessed with my pair of Quay round sunnies! The green-black tint and gold rims go with all of my jackets! 

This song...scratch that...ANTHEM has been on repeat!!!!! I've always loved Ariana Grande and this just furthers my fan girl! In October, I got a celebrity makeover for Halloween to look like her. AG's music video takes the cake! Mean Girls, Bring It On, 13 Going On 30 and Legally Blonde?? thank u Ariana!!!!!

“Alexa, play 'A Legendary Christmas'.” I cannot stop listening to John Legend's jazzy upbeat holiday album. It even beat out my favorite Justin Bieber Christmas cd, and that’s saying a lot!

I’m super late to the party on this one, but with the E! series about to air I’ve started listening to “Dirty John.” I CAN’T STOP.

​The podcast follows the story of a California woman who falls in love with a man who has stalking and violent charges in his past. Host, Christopher Goffard, documents the story with interviews from the woman and her family members. I'm hooked!

Happy almost Fall, Y'all!

Home is where the music is.

Last weekend I went to a brand new riverfront music festival in my city. My heart is so full! I got to introduce my favorite band, dance in the rain while drinking moonshine cocktails and I was surrounded by all of my people!

Days like this are what make my town home! Being a total gypsy and living in nine different states, I’ve never felt the concreteness of staying in one place. I love having the feeling of community and great friends on my side. This is the second music fest my city has had this year, and both were filled with everything and everybody who I love.

Home is where the heart is, and in this case it’s in the music.
